1st Task

PROBLEM 1

Assignment : Industry

Type of industry_Travel Agencies
Company : X sdn. bhd

Assalamualaikum and hello guys!

We are from group 16 will present about the problem of travel agencies. Nowadays,there are many travel agencies in Malaysia according to the increasing of travelers n tourists from day to day.

What problem is it?

The problems are:

1)Funding

It is a big investment to start a travel agencies because its involved many procedure to make sure there is no problem among 2 or more side.we need to have strong linkage between countries and other agencies,we need to have almost perfect requirement and etc.

2)security

-lack of security-

Expose to loss/exchange bags and stuffs.

3)Expertise

-skill to speak more than 2 languages(bm n bi)-

More translator in different languages that can they provide,more countries can they explore.If not,the countries are limited and this is a big problem for the agency to maintain their brand.

4)Muslim traveler

-halal food-

Its really hard to find halal food especially at the countries with minority Muslim. so,for thus agency that can find some place to eat halal food,it is advantage.

5) Agency halal , agency haram

travel agency 'halal' have to compete with the travel agencies 'illegal'. There are times when those who are illegally operating take a profit that far many times from a licensed travel agency. Finally licensed travel agency had to dumpfounded and biting finger when they see their should profits was flow to others pockets.

Whose problem is it?

Target customers : citizens

Why is the problem there?

The problem still there when the support of industry players (pengusaha industri sokongan pelancongan) such as hotels, resorts, corporations, transportation and so on do not want to cooperate with travel agen .

When did it occur?

The problem occur when:
1)they can't identify what is lacking about them to society.
2)complaints that are made are not taken care
3)companies are more concerned with profit than comfort.

Krik krik .. krik krik .

Here’s what we thought~

we think that the class was so unique and it really caught our attention for 2 hours of lecture. MR. Bernard, one of the best presenter that we met. His communication skill was good with eye contact, interaction between the audience and his sense of humour we think, perhaps?

In the very first class.
I had learnt a new concept,

we should always identify our problem before we have an idea or solution,
(i.e. We are required to create a blog and keep posting on the blog, “no photo with your girlfriend and boyfriend is allowed and no candle light dinner story is allowed”, said Mr Bernard, so, what should we post?)

SIMPLE IDEA

so with the problem above, our group had come out with an idea, where members in our group take turns to post something that they can think off,
Without a problem, we might not know what is the purpose of an idea for,
