Week 8 Recap (02/11/2012)

No doubt,  Today  mr. Bernard was telling us about his breakfast meeting with someone from the  Digital Malaysia . According to Bernard, Digital Malaysia has about RM 300K to be given away. The government is going to farm any brilliant yet simple idea that has to do with contents of digital. This is a big opportunities he said. They're searching for young talents with great ideas. Truthfully , we looked blur as he talked about that Digital Malaysia thing.  *sigh*  :))

"forgetting about ur last assignment , don't worried if you don't have a bigger idea , if only if any of you can think of idea and built a best model ideas , so they can develop the idea for you ", said Bernard.

He challenged us since we're the Academy of Islamic Studies students, so, the challenge was relating to the field that close to us. The topic discussion is about how can we improve the learning of Pengajian Islam in school through technology in 30 minutes? From all aspect of young islam , since the day when we studied in islam in term of education and so on. If you’re going to be in the education field after graduation?

So, we did some discussion in each group . :)

later then, some groups had presented their ideas..

It was too many interesting and bombastic ideas were shared from the other group. One idea from them is that we need to design an islamic search , eg , I-utube or islamic google. A great big ideas like develop a a game with islamic value.

( eg : share >http://www.free-islamic-course.org/ )

We got a lot of history telling by Bernard.

1) google search

when we type in search : Islam , there is about 110,000,000 results . Its means  a lot of people develop in it is the whole people in this world, not in just Malaysia country.

As we reached the last session, Bernard asked us to prepare for the next class

which was go and see application store on the net, then type the word "Islam", then examine the technology that has been developed from that on word search.

Before i forgot to mention, the mobile industry in the world is up. Now, in 2012, Malaysia’s worth 1.2 billions US dollars in mobile industry. So forth, they expect later in 2014, mobile industry in Malaysia will be up to 8 billion US dollars.

so, think , when come 2012, where are you in industri mobile? Digest 1 application in learning Islam

that all from us .
